The iPET Network Level 2 End-Point Assessment (EPA) for General Farm Worker is the final assessment for Apprentices completing the Level 2 General Farm Worker Standard. This assessment is designed to confirm that Apprentices have developed the practical skills, knowledge, and professional behaviours required to work safely, efficiently, and responsibly across a range of farm operations.
The EPA includes practical assessments, professional discussions, and scenario-based tasks that reflect real-world farm work. Apprentices are evaluated on their ability to handle and care for livestock, operate farm machinery safely, maintain facilities, manage crops, and apply biosecurity and health and safety practices. The assessment also examines teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and professionalism, ensuring learners can work effectively within a farm team and follow management instructions.
Successfully completing the iPET Network Level 2 EPA demonstrates that Apprentices are confident, competent, and industry-ready, capable of contributing to a variety of farm roles in commercial, research, or agricultural settings.
