The iPET Network Level 3 Award in Wool Coat Asian Fusion Teddy Style (Exclusive to AFG Ltd) is a bespoke qualification designed in partnership with industry experts, Asian Fusion Grooming Ltd. The qualification is designed to be flexible to meet the real life needs and circumstances of its Candidates. The qualification is aimed at existing, experienced dog groomers wishing to expand their knowledge and skill set. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of knowledge of correct bathing and drying techniques and demonstrate working practices that maintain a high level of health, safety and welfare for both the canine and the groomer. 

The qualification forms a balance of theoretical and practical learning to ensure Candidates have the knowledge, understanding and skills required to create an Asian Fusion Teddy Style trim on a wool coat, in a safe manner. 

This qualification has been developed following extensive consultation with worldwide leading industry experts, ensuring its relevance in the grooming industry, a focus on safety and welfare of dogs and groomers, support of the continued growth and development of the industry, as well as utilising the skills and knowledge of those at the forefront of the field.

This qualification has been designed to enable Candidates to:

• Access a holistic approach to training;

• Understand how to bath and dry a wool-coated dog ready for Asian Fusion styling;

• Understand key anatomical points of the dog;

• Gain the necessary skills to complete a pet trim in an Asian Fusion Teddy Style on a wool-coated dog. 

The iPET Network Level 3 Award in Wool Coat Asian Fusion Teddy Style (Exclusive to AFG Ltd) consists of one mandatory theoretical and practical unit:
